We arrange an appointment in Berlin or the surrounding area and document the vehicle condition, extent of damage and required technical data.

After the inspection and review of the complete documents, we prepare the report as quickly as possible and explain the key findings. Processing time depends on the extent of damage, vehicle and available records.

What to do after a road accident.
Protect people first, then secure the scene and record evidence and information in an orderly way. Open each step for further guidance.
1. Secure the scene and provide assistance
- Stop immediately, remain calm and switch on the hazard warning lights.
- Put on a high-visibility vest and secure the scene only when it is safe to do so.
- If anyone is injured or there is an immediate danger, call 112 and provide first aid within your abilities.
- For serious damage, disputes, an unclear accident or suspected hit-and-run, call the police on 110.
2. Document the accident and those involved
- Photograph the scene, vehicle positions, damage, number plates and relevant road signs without putting yourself at risk.
- Exchange names, addresses, phone numbers, number plates and insurance information.
- Record witness contact details and briefly write down or sketch how the accident occurred.
- Do not make a premature admission of liability or sign anything you do not understand.
3. After leaving the scene
- Keep photos, witness information, the accident report and related documents together.
- Report the accident promptly in accordance with the terms of your own insurance policy.
- Seek medical attention for pain or injuries and have the symptoms documented.
- Have the vehicle professionally assessed before repairs when the damage is not clearly minor.
4. Expert and legal costs
- For a non-fault liability claim, necessary expert and legal costs may generally form part of the recoverable loss.
- Reimbursement may be limited for minor damage, shared liability or a disputed claim.
- A blanket promise of cost coverage cannot be made; the individual circumstances are decisive.
