2. Accessing this website

This website is provided through Netlify, Inc. When the website is accessed, Netlify processes technically necessary connection and server-log data. This may include the IP address, date and time, requested address, referrer, browser type and operating system. The processing is necessary to provide the website securely, reliably and without errors. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of this website.

Depending on the Netlify plan, function logs are generally retained for between 24 hours and no more than seven days. The enquiry function does not log complete enquiry content, contact details or access credentials. Netlify may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such processing is subject to the requirements of Articles 44 et seq. GDPR and the provider's contractual safeguards. Further information is available in Netlify's privacy statement.

3. Contact by telephone or email

If you contact us, we process the information you provide in order to answer your enquiry, arrange an appointment and, where applicable, prepare or perform an expert service. Data is retained only as long as required by the enquiry, contract or statutory retention duties. Non-binding enquiries that do not result in an engagement will be deleted no later than three months after processing has been completed. If an engagement is entered into, the applicable statutory retention duties apply to the engagement records.

The intended legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual enquiries and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Enquiry form and email delivery

You may use the enquiry form to send a non-binding enquiry to SB Gutachtenbüro. Your entries are initially processed in your browser so that you can review a summary before submitting them. After submission, the data is transferred through a Netlify Function to Brevo's transactional-email service and forwarded by email to SB Gutachtenbüro. Netlify Forms is not used and no form submission is stored there.

The form may include information about the enquiry, damage or vehicle, requested appointment, name and telephone number, and optionally an email address and a request for a WhatsApp reply. Information about an accident, the other vehicle or an insurer may also contain personal data relating to third parties. Please provide only the information required to process your enquiry.

The recipient of the enquiry is SB Gutachtenbüro at svb.bouta@hotmail.com. Netlify and Sendinblue GmbH (Brevo) process the data as technical recipients to the extent necessary for transmission, security and email delivery. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual enquiries and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the reliable handling of business enquiries.

Brevo logs are retained for three months. Brevo does not store email previews for new messages. Non-binding enquiries that do not result in an engagement are deleted by SB Gutachtenbüro no later than three months after processing has been completed. If an engagement is entered into, the applicable statutory retention duties apply. Further information is available in Brevo's privacy policy.

5. WhatsApp

The WhatsApp button opens an external service. If you use it, data is processed by WhatsApp/Meta under that provider’s own terms. You may contact us by telephone or email instead.

Please send only the information and documents required for your enquiry via WhatsApp.

After successful form delivery, WhatsApp opens only if you selected this option and then voluntarily click the WhatsApp link. Form data is not transferred automatically to WhatsApp. The pre-filled message contains only a general reference to the website enquiry.

6. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use analytics, advertising tracking or non-essential cookies. If this changes, this notice will be updated before the relevant service is used and consent will be obtained where required.

The office location is not loaded as an embedded map. The website only contains external links to Google Maps and the Google review profile. A connection to Google is established only after you open such a link. Further information is available in Google's privacy policy.

7. Recipients and international transfers

Personal data is disclosed only to recipients who require it for the relevant request or engagement. These may include technical and email service providers and, where necessary or requested by you, workshops, insurers, lawyers or other parties involved. Any disclosure requires a legal basis.

Netlify, WhatsApp, Google or their subprocessors may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers take place only under the requirements of Articles 44 et seq. GDPR, in particular on the basis of an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

8. Your rights

Subject to the legal requirements, you have rights to access, correction, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority, in particular the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, email: mailbox@datenschutz-berlin.de.

Any consent you have given may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

9. Provision of data and automated decisions

You are generally not required to provide personal data. Without the information needed for contact or an engagement, however, we may be unable to process your request. No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.

Appropriate technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal data. This notice was last updated on 31 July 2026 and will be amended if the services or processing activities change.
